At the very least, austerity should be imposed upon DC. Hell, seems to me we had better governing in this country when there was no A.C. I guess our Founding Fathers survived? So, ration AC, make it based on credits – our elected officials show up for votes, they get AC credits. And no more subsidized meals. They’re gonna cut social welfare programs, well there’s no more free lunch for anyone.

Answer This: Where is the money goining? In 1970 a new Caddy was $6k. Today, $60K. Gas/gallon 62 cents, today $4 gallon. Weekly groceries $25, today $150. Average Salary in 1970, $7500, today $45K w/signifcantly more taxes. Corporations and govt have been steadily ripping us off since 1970, David with poorer products at greater costs. How can things have risen so much and salaries stayed so low. Corps and Govt making ALL THE MONEY and stealing everything from underneath us!!
