Krav maga is good however Russian Systema is softer and easier to learn and can be done by elderly people and it has been serving the Russian people on the battle fields for centuries

Dunno if it would work, but knowing me, if the attacker was using his/her left hand, I’d block it from the inside with my right then try to get an armlock or grab the gun. But test it before trying it for real lol
kamyar while you wait to see if the shooter will hesitate… BANG. I would instantly react if it was that close (if it’s too far then obviously I can’t grab the guy’s arm or whatever so I’d just run away in an erratic pattern to make it hard for him to shoot me)
Erm it may not have been on a gun but I’ve done something similar when someone wanted to hit me with a pole. This makes sense (though I would just automatically use my LEFT hand and my right hand (I’m right-handed btw) would grab his hand/wrist to break it or his gun to get off him)

yea but u push against the wrist, thers not much force coming from there. very simple but is anyone really willing to try in their situation. only if i know that the shooter wil hesitate before taking a shot.

That’s pretty good, but I think I’d prefer the Krav Maga defense to this situation. It’s very similar, but you keep both hands on the gun for more control.
