Moose, Are we seeing a Greater Depression for us in the coming months or years? In the New York Times, The IMF lied stating that the U.S. Debt will reach 97.5% of their GDP, but Bloomberg online said as of April 2009, the government spent $14+ Trillion.
This is going to be worse than the 1929-1939 Depression.

Ken Lewis does worse things than you list. His 45,000 sq ft mansion and his fleet of luxury cars are obscene.
Ken Lewis’ cheeks & nose are full of bluish colored blown blood vessels. This is a unique symptom of chronic drunkeness from high-dollar scotch mixed with arrogance and daily $3,000 rounds of golf. Lewis is also insane – recently he was found mumbling & muttering while eating like cereal a bowl full of bugs & dead grass with milk.
“Owners of capital will stimulate the working class to buy more and more expensive goods requiring more and more expansion of credit, until the debt becomes unbearable. The unpaid debt will bankrupt the banks, causing the state to save, nationalize and take over ownership of the financial institutions. This will bring about the communist state.”
Karl Marx
Even though I completely disagree with Reich, at least he was civil.
Yes very much so. Some of the jobs will go south of the boarder IF they can. Most will not like construction and domestic production jobs that are not mobile.
Build a wall and blue collar wages would increase about 37% depending on conditions.
Right now conditions are so bad keeping wages stagnant would be a positive..
If Bush had built a wall on 2001 blue collar wages would have kept up with white collar wages.
Truthpolice9698, Do you dispute the point I made?
Build the wall and let the third world labor stay over there.
We got out of the Depression of 1920 because we had large cuts in government spending and tax rates, and the government and the Federal Reserve were passive. It was over in about a year and a half.
If we want recovery, we have to do like they did in 1920 and get out of the way.
To compare, between 1921 and 1929, the Federal Reserve increased the money supply from $45 billion to $73 billion. And then the Fed contracted the money supply and caused the Great Depression.
Or the companies would move to the country you walled off and hire them there.
Oh wait… that happened.
Robert Reich is such a cute little commie person.
I just want to pick him up in the air and watch his little commie legs wiggle.
BTW, he was great in the original TV series Wild Wild West when he played Dr. Miguelito Loveless a hate filled little would-be dictator.
Hmm, now that I think about it, he kind of still plays the same part.
That’s typecasting for you.
He’s a fucking moron.
If you want to raise blue collar wages build a wall on the Mexican boarder.
Blue collar wages would increase 40% + or – depending n the economic activity.
He’s also like 4 feet tall lol
the guy who supports deficit spending is retarded
I wouldnt trust these politcian to mow my lawn. Good one
Firing? He should be prosecuted.
