One thing I could never understand: where did Iceland get all that money in the first place? I mean before the shit hit the fan their business men were buying companies around Europe like crazy. They got rich overnight??
If the earth is like a human body.The People like cells then they need nutrition like all cells. The money is like the blood to transport these things from place to place. A depression is like a body that is very very cold. To get warm again we need to start moving the limbs. Making people start their consumption again is moving the limbs. So when people stop fearing losing their money and start spending them the body gets warm again.

People here might think that is icelanders fault their economic crisis, but the truth is that they are only the first victims of capitalism, and the rest of the european countries will face a lot of economic-social problems in the immidiate future. At least I hope that Iceland will have the common sense to stay away from EE, and not sell away everything they have (fishing, water, energy) just to take some more loans that will leave them with huge depths and absolutely nothing to help pay back.
