Wow…two different sets of ears on the same song lol…I was just thinking how much this sounds like alot of the other post-disco electronic rock that came out around this time, alot of those same types of arpeggios, almost like something that Styx or Journey would have glued together, but certainly not with the melodic or lyrical abilities of an Ian Anderson.
