Dude, CHASE is the worst. I don’t understand why people still bank there. They closed my friends cash account for no apparent reason.
Fr thre record, I’m keeping to my goal of paying off my Chase cards as fast as possible. Still doing auto bill pay – they found a way in february to screw me there by adjusting the billing cycle somehow. And I’m doubling my payment on purpose. Solution though. If you do auto bill pay weekly, set it up so the full bill is paid in three pay cycles. One of my chase cards is gone now, the next is soon to follow.
The only way to make a statement these banks will understand is to pay off these credit cards as fast as possible. Taking away their profits, even if it is only a few cents per month (by everyone who owns one paying a little extra each month) is the only language they will ever understand.
I would encourage anyone who has a chase credit card, especially anyone who is paying the standard rate hike of 27.75 %, that if you are getting a tax return this year, to pay as much as they possibly can on their cards. THere is nowhere you can invest money that will give you that rate of return. Also, if you’re bank has the option of making weekly payments through automatic bill pay, set things up so 25% of your payment is paid out weekly. Once you pay one card, apply that to the next.
did chase or boa, force you to go and charge your card. if you were a true patriot, you would be responsible for YOUR actions. If you can’t pay your balance, you chose Debt.

All the big banks are scum. Drive their companies into the ground while the people at the top got golden parachutes. Now in order to recover they take govt money and screw over their once prized middle class. Sickening.
