Seriously. The only people who own fire arms and particularly handguns are the ones who go through the proper channels (partly because you cannot own one with a record). Criminals obtain their fire arms illegally so they will not trace back to them when they use them for something criminal. It seems like a no-brainer that enacting gun legislation will not solve what the liberals see as a problem. They see inner-city shootings, or what have you. These are committed by unlicensed firearms.
One of the very few things I don’t like about Dennis is the one of my biggest concerns, the fact he is currently drafting legislation that includes a ban on the purchase, sale, transfer, or possession of handguns by civilians. This is as anti-freedom as one can be.
If he is so smart, why on earth would he create legislation that hurt law-abiding Americans and helps the criminals? The liberals need to get away from the anti-gun reputation.
